Making Terminal launch with a specific size

Jump to: navigation, search
  1. go to System > Preferences > Preferred Applications.
  2. Open the System tab to edit the terminal emulator.
  3. select Custom and enter gnome-terminal --geometry 190x26 (or whatever size - in characters)

You can add additional values for position:

  • --geometry 197x24+84-77
