Trouble Loading Sidebar Gadgets

Sometimes vista sidebar gadgets won't load or display correctly -- they will be just black or white boxes on the sidebar. This seems to help:
- Open a command prompt as an administrator
- cd to C:\Program Filess\Windows Sidebar (or wherever the sidebar is located
- run the following commands
regsvr32 -u sbdrop.dll
regsvr32 -u wlsrvc.dll
regsvr32 atl.dll
regsvr32 sbdrop.dll
regsvr32 wlsrvc.dll
regsvr32 scrrun.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 msxml3.dll
- clear all Internet Explorer cache and history
- restart the computer
